MISSIONARY SUNDAY (MISSION WORK ABROAD)

Worship Planning Notes
Since this Sunday will put mission work on the mind of your congregation, it makes sense to seize the moment. Worship
leaders should contact auxiliaries of the church to request that they set up tables so that persons interested in mission
work abroad can sign up. If your church is not involved with mission activities outside of the United States, contact
executives of your denomination or organizations whose work is respected by your pastor. Ask them to be on hand following
the morning worship to provide persons with materials, information, and opportunities for service. Be sure that contact
information for organizations or denominations is included in the church bulletin/order of worship on this Sunday.
